Moshe Kreindler Car Accident North Woodmere, NY Man Dies Weeks After Crash

The North Woodmere community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of R’ Moshe (Moe) Kreindler, a devoted father and respected member of the local community, who has died from injuries sustained in a car crash on March 19. His passing has left family, friends, and neighbors in deep sorrow as they remember a man known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping others.

According to Nassau County Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 7:53 a.m. on University Street when Kreindler, who was driving a 2023 Tesla, attempted to make a left turn onto Branch Boulevard. During the maneuver, his vehicle collided with a 2019 Honda Accord driven by a 24-year-old man. The impact left Kreindler critically injured, and he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he fought for his life in the days following the accident. Despite medical efforts, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The other driver was also taken to the hospital and treated for injuries.

R’ Moshe Kreindler was widely known within the community as a dedicated volunteer with Chaverim of Five Towns and Far Rockaway, where he selflessly gave his time to assist others in need.
